Especially when we're walking through a forest and everywhere we look we see branches loaded with wild huckleberries.
ShuMai, my girl Pug, is a true omnivore. She eats anything & everything we put in her bowl, but she seems to enjoy foraging the most, which sometimes means spending an entire afternoon "foraging" through our garden, looking for tomatoes low enough for her to reach.
(Good thing she's kinda' cute, or our neighbors would be very unhappy about losing half their strawberry harvest to a 24 pound Pug.)
At least Gizzy, my boy Pug, is a gentleman. He's always polite enough to ask for permission before he digs into the huckleberry bucket, even if he can only use his expressive little eyes to do the asking.
