Pickling Workshop at the Mother Earth News Spring Fair

I'm excited to share some news with you: I'll be leading a pickling workshop on Sunday afternoon, June 3rd at the Mother Earth News Fair in Puyallup!

When Mother Earth News recently contacted me about leading a workshop I didn't hesitate to say "You bet...I'd love to be a part of your Fair!" I grew up reading Mother Earth News magazine and this Fair will be like seeing their fine magazine come to life.

While my 2 recipe / 2 technique workshop  "Pickling Dilly Grean Beans & Spicy Carrot Sticks" will only keep me busy for about an hour on Sunday, I'm sure I'll be at the Fair the entire weekend. We are so fortunate to be one of only 2 cities with a Mother Earth News Fair this year (Seven Springs, Pennsylvania is the other host city) and I plan to take advantage of this fact by spending my Saturday and Sunday taking in many of the various fun-filled, family-oriented sustainable lifestyle events.
